How much should an Insurance Valuation cost?
The cost of the Insurance Valuation depends on the scope of works – factors include size, type, location and whether you already have detailed property plans
Why do you need to inspect our property, I see other companies don't do Site Inspections?
We have seen too many errors from previous reports where it is obvious no Site Inspection was completed, which has led to significant variances in the correct value. While other companies offer a ‘desktop valuation’, we believe the most thorough and accurate way is to get our feet on the ground and document everything ourselves.
Do I have to be present at the site inspection?
For most properties, if we have a set of plans, then no we don’t need to meet with you and can complete the valuation from the exterior of the property. In some cases however we may need to gain access to common areas – we will let you know once we have your property details and conduct our preliminary research.
What is the process of getting an Insurance Valuation done?

Once we receive your confirmation, we will schedule in the Site Inspection and be in touch if we require anything else for you. We aim to make the process as easy and straightforward as possible for you.
We are replacing the ballustrades on the balcony in a year, should we wait until the works are complete to get an Insurance Valuation done?
No, you should not wait. We are assessing the current replacement cost, meaning how much it would cost to replace the building (and balconies) at the current market rate, it is not relevant how old the balustrades on the balconies are at the time of valuation (unless it is Heritage of course)
